Thank you for joining us and the rest of the Oculus community to kickstart this year’s healthy habits with some fun VR workouts! Since the New Year, we’ve been sharing weekly guides to help you shake up your home fitness routine. Each Workout of the Week combines gaming with a killer workout session, focused on a different theme: Full-Body, Arms, Legs, Mindfulness, and Sports. Today, we’re sharing the final Bonus Workout of the Week with a focus on rhythm and dance—time to dance like no one’s watching!
OhShape on the Quest and Rift Platforms takes dance and rhythm games to a new level by getting you to move your entire body. Inspired by the Japanese TV show Hole in the Wall, this game has you dodge, punch, and fit through shapes flying toward you at increasing speed. OhShape offers custom song support, so you can dance and sweat to your favorite tunes.
Next, experience music in a whole new way while riding the unique rail system in Synth Riders on the Quest and Rift Platforms. To keep your heartrate up between songs, select the “Random Song” button so you don’t miss a beat. The Synth Riders team recently added new DLC including two tracks from Muse. Learn more here.
Last but definitely not least, walk into the world’s best virtual dance club with Dance Central on the Quest and Rift Platforms. In this dance club developed by Harmonix, the creators of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, you are the life of the party, nobody steps on your toes, and you get unique choreography for each song. You can also dip your toes in a free demo of Dance Central on Quest.
