Last week, ILMxLAB announced that composers Bear McCreary, Danny Piccione, and Joseph Trapanese are all working on the music for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, coming November 19 to the Oculus Quest Platform.

Emmy and BAFTA-winner McCreary scored the primary adventure that runs through Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, in which you take on the role of a droid repair technician that learns anyone can become a hero. His work includes “Tara’s Theme,” which evokes the nefarious Guavian Death Gang cell leader Tara Rashin (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Debra Wilson), that you will face off against. Piccione took on the task of writing new cantina music, including “Pinteeka Dub.” You’ll hear his work as you encounter fast-talking bartender Seezeslak (Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan) in his namesake cantina. To dive into the interview, click here.

Handling the music for Temple of Darkness, one of the standalone stories that make up Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, is composer Joseph Trapanese. In “Age of the Jedi,” he calls to mind the idealism and glory of The High Republic era, when the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic were at their zenith. Click here for the interview.

We’ll see you November 19 for the launch of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge!
