We’re back with more Asgard’s Wrath content to celebrate the one-year anniversary of this Norse-inspired epic from Sanzaru Games.

Shortly after the release of Asgard’s Wrath, the animation team proposed doing a set of short sketches using assets from the game. The group devised their own skits and even composed and recorded their own rock music tracks.

In this animated short, three of the most valiant (and hungry) animal followers find themselves in a tense campfire standoff. Who will get caught in the crossfire?

It’s been one year since the launch of Asgard’s Wrath, and we’re celebrating with the team from Sanzaru Games by releasing some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage!

In the first clip, developers at Sanzaru devise, rehearse, and perform their own fight choreography for the dark elf Stikkan’s battle versus Hel’s army of the undead.

Next up, they rehearse and perform a tense tavern confrontation between the Norse gods Loki and Tyr.

Last but not least, our friends at Sanzaru get down on the dance floor for a special end credits sequence.

We hope you enjoyed this look at the game’s motion capture sessions and early pre-visualizations. Continue the celebration by battling as a mortal and rising as a god with Asgard’s Wrath on the Rift Platform, and stay tuned on YouTube and Reddit every Friday through mid-November as we drop glimpses of what your favorite characters from the game have been up to since launch.
