Valentine’s Day is upon us, so we decided to play Cupid and pair you up with some great experiences on Gear VR—including brand-new content for Face Your Fears! From dinner and a show to a quiet night in, there’s plenty to win your heart.

Love Hurts
Turtle Rock Studios is first up with a narrative-driven, sinister affair pulled straight from the pages of Edgar Allan Poe. The latest DLC for fan-favorite Face Your Fears, “The Betrayal” begins with you seated at a dining room table. Looking around, you’ll notice a familiar portrait on the wall and a bottle of wine whose label you can’t quite make out. What starts off as a romantic meal for two quickly takes an unexpected turn. Suffice it to say, things aren’t exactly what they seem.

Pro-Tip: Be sure to stay seated and use your headphones for this one. If you’re in the mood for some jump scares, check out “Creepy Crawlies”—also available for in-app purchase—plus the original two scenes.

Stay Home with Hulu

Can’t be with your current flame this V-Day? Watch a sappy rom-com or binge-watch your favorite TV shows with Hulu! Even better, Hulu’s now fully integrated with Oculus Rooms so you can cuddle up on the same virtual couch for some quality time.

A Celebratory Spectacle
Forgot to get tickets to a concert or stage show? Surprise your love with a surreal performance by Cirque du Soleil! Dreams of “O” submerges you in in an immersive aquatic masterpiece, while Zarkana brings an abandoned theatre back to life and Kurios places you inside a cabinet of curiosities. All three experiences from Felix & Paul Studios take you inside critically-acclaimed Cirque du Soleil shows and are available for free on Gear VR.

This is just a taste of what Gear VR has to offer—with 550+ apps on the Oculus Store and social features like Oculus Parties and Rooms plus a variety of multiplayer options, it’s definitely couple-friendly. Find your mobile VR match on the Oculus Store today!
