The expo floor opened yesterday at GDC, and attendees experienced the first-ever public demos of Oculus Go in booth #401 (South Hall)! We hope you’ll join us this week to get hands-on with our first standalone headset—and some high-quality games coming soon to the Oculus Platform.

Oculus Go First Look

To give people a taste of what’s to come and encourage even more game developers to start building for the platform, we’re showcasing a small slice of the action-packed games and experiences coming to Oculus Go on day one. Many of these titles will be cross-platform, so you’ll be able to play with friends on various VR devices.

They Suspect Nothing
Coatsink is back with a darkly comic game about misanthropic robots and human deception. You play as the last human on Earth, surviving by your wits and machine-like dexterity in a bizarre series of human-detection tests. With 12 quirky mini-games, British humo(u)r, and vocal talent featuring Jim Broadbent (Game of Thrones, Hot Fuzz, Harry Potter), fans of Augmented Empire, A Night Sky, and the Esper series are in for a colorful treat.

Oculus Go: Behind the Scenes
Yesterday, Oculus Software Engineer Rémi Palandri gave a talk on Oculus Go’s performance features. Click here to watch the replay, and check out the Oculus Developer Blog for a technical deep dive.

Rift and Cross-Platform Play

The two-year anniversary of Rift is just around the corner, and we’re excited to announce some new titles coming to the platform.

Vacation Simulator
Makers of the genre-establishing VR sim Job Simulator, Owlchemy Labs return to Rift with Vacation Simulator. Join our computerized companions beach-side for some virtual relaxation. Can’t make it to GDC to get your sunburn on? Use the downtime before this 2018 launch to get schwifty in Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality.

We also have two demos that you can experience cross-platform on Oculus Go and Rift.

Anshar Online
Following the success of Anshar Wars 2, we teamed up with OZWE Games to announce Anshar Online—a deep-space racing shooter featuring 50+ missions as well as co-op and PVP modes. GDC attendees can demo the experience cross-platform on Oculus Go and Rift or solo on Oculus Go. Anshar Online will hit the Oculus Store later this year for Rift, Oculus Go, and Gear VR.

Catan VR
Global board game phenomenon Catan now lets friends and families enjoy a social gaming experience regardless of physical distance. Catan VR lets you and up to three other players (live or AI-based) trade, build, and form settlements while fully immersed in the Catan universe. GDC attendees will dive in on Rift and Oculus Go—while players at home can get in on the action with yesterday’s launch of Catan VR on both Gear VR and Rift. Click here to learn more.
