Get ready for a narrative-driven RPG adventure. The latest title from Coatsink, Augmented Empire is now available for Gear VR!

The year is 2058. New Savannah is a city divided, with those at the top living in luxury as society’s outcasts and criminals dwell in squalor. In true cyberpunk fashion, you’ll access an AR diorama to navigate a ragtag team of misfits as they engineer the revolution.

With the success of the Esper series on Gear VR and Rift under their belt, plus the visually stunning Gear VR Controller launch title A Night Sky, Coatsink takes that same attention to detail and high production value to create a turn-based strategy game like no other. Following its debut at GDC, UploadVR compared Augmented Empire to a mashup of XCOM and Mass Effect while Tom’s Guide hailed it as “a cyberpunk gem.”

This is our biggest game release yet for Gear VR, and we couldn’t be more excited. With 10 hours of gameplay across 26 missions and 60 environments, Augmented Empire is a deep and satisfying mobile VR experience. Add in star-studded vocal talent from Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager, Dragon Age), and Garrick Hagon (Star Wars: Episode IV, Horizon Zero Dawn), and this is one RPG you have to see to believe.

Check out Augmented Empire for Gear VR on the Oculus Store today. New Savannah’s fate depends on you.
