You asked, they listened: Impulse Gear has been hard at work making its team-based multiplayer shooter Larcenauts (which is available now on the Oculus Quest and Rift Platforms) even better, with more control over how you use your hands in VR.
With the release of today's Immersion Overload update, you’ll now be able to manually reload your weapons using the Touch motion controllers rather than pressing a button, and you can aim down the sights of weapons using both hands for stability.
In addition to those immersive hand presence features, Larcenauts is also adding join codes for multiplayer to make cross-play between headsets easier. Spatialized voice chat means you’ll hear other players around you in the lobby from appropriate directions. And all of the grip, throwing, and grappling mechanics are more polished, so moment-to-moment gameplay feels great for every Specialist.
In Larcenauts, players battle it out in 6v6 competitive multiplayer battles across an assortment of exotic maps across alien worlds. Each Specialist has their own unique set of abilities and weapons they specialize in, from SMGs and sniper rifles to grenade launchers, shotguns, and more. It’s a pulse-pounding bout of skill and intensity that sucks you into the action thanks to the immersive power of VR. Big updates are coming soon with the upcoming launch of Season One later this year.
Don’t miss out on the galaxy’s most epic heist battles for supremacy in Larcenauts, available now on Quest, Rift, and SteamVR with cross-play for $29.99 USD.
