Prepare to return to the Goblin Kingdom when the all-new DLC course, Walkabout Mini Golf: Labyrinth, releases later this year. Developer Mighty Coconut is teaming up with The Jim Henson Company to bring the iconic world of the 1986 classic fantasy film, Labyrinth, to life in VR through the fun of mini golf. The 36-hole course based on the cult classic film releases this summer for the Rift and Quest platforms.
The Labyrinth DLC will expand the existing roster of eight courses in the base game with 36-holes each to feature a magical new world full of creatures, faeries, and goblins. This new course will be a vivid and challenging adventure for new players and veterans alike with character-filled environments. There will be 18 ‘easy mode’ holes and 18 ‘hard mode’ holes to provide a little something for everyone, all of which can be enjoyed either solo or with up to four other players. And don’t forget to seek out the 18 new ‘lost balls' hidden across the mazes to add to your collection and the elusive Labyrinth-themed putter.
“We’re so thrilled to be working with The Jim Henson Company for our first licensed course, said Lucas Martell, executive producer and head of Mighty Coconut. “They have been terrific partners, helping us stay true to the original LABYRINTH, while also allowing us to have fun and be inventive as we create what is basically an entire virtual theme park, with a mini-golf course attached.”
