It’s the NBA Playoffs, and the league is pulling out all the stops as it celebrates its 75th Anniversary. Today, the NBA Lane experience comes to life in virtual reality with its launch in Horizon Worlds on Meta Quest 2.

People 18+ with a Meta Quest 2 headset in the US and Canada can check out NBA Lane in Horizon Worlds, now through June 30. This is the ultimate destination to celebrate your love of the game. When you enter Horizon Worlds, navigate to the “Events” tab from your Welcome Board. From “Featured Events,” find “NBA Lane” and select “Join Now.”

As you enter NBA Lane, you’ll step into an NBA-themed wonderland:

  • Free Throw Shootout: Compete with your friends in this minigame where the player with the most points wins! The moving hoop will mix things up as you try to outscore your opponent.
  • Low-Gravity Dunk Contest: Fly high and defy physics to impress the judges who will give you a score after you dunk the ball.
  • Enjoy the Big Screen: Sit back and enjoy epic NBA content on a giant screen in front of the arena. Clips will include game highlights, player interviews, and other NBA content.
  • Selfie Time in the NBA Trophy Room: Now’s your chance to hold the newly-unveiled Larry O’Brien trophy, recreated in VR. Take a selfie in VR and share it with your friends IRL.

No matter how your team has fared in the postseason, NBA Lane is the perfect place to celebrate and share your love of the game. And be sure to share your selfies with us at @horizonworlds and @NBA.
