E3 2018 kicks off next week in Los Angeles, bringing together thousands of gamers, streamers, developers, and more to celebrate the best of the game industry. Today, we’re sharing your cheat sheet of where to find the latest and greatest from Oculus on the show floor.
In the Alienware booth (South Hall #647), you can get hands-on with Echo Combat—the highly-anticipated expansion of Ready At Dawn’s Echo Universe. In this competitive zero-gravity FPS, you’ll play as a futuristic, battle-ready robot armed with an array of weapons. Leverage your unique abilities as your team competes in high-speed, objective-based, 3v3 mayhem, and mark your calendar for June 21 when you can put the skills you honed at E3 to the test in Echo Combat’s open beta!
Next up, live out your espionage-fueled fantasies with Defector at the Facebook Gaming booth (South Hall #2301). Defector builds off the success of Twisted Pixel’s VR debut in this larger-than-life spy caper that Polygon likened to “the Mission Impossible movies, with ludicrously entertaining scenes.”
It’s coming to Rift in late 2018, and E3 attendees can get an early taste at what IGN called “a spy fantasy for The Fast and the Furious Generation.”
Finally, step inside the narrative-driven world of Moss, a single-player action-adventure starring a wide-eyed dreamer named Quill—also in the Facebook Gaming booth. After debuting on PSVR to critical acclaim, Polyarc’s letting the Rift community in on the fun (click here to learn more)!
We’re also excited to participate in Facebook’s Women in Gaming Networking Event, June 14 from 8:00 – 11:00 am PT at The Mixing Room. Designed to raise awareness of the growing number of women gamers, promote increased diversity in game design, and encourage more women to enter the gaming industry and advance into leadership positions, the event will include both a panel discussion moderated by IGN and a workshop geared toward improved inclusivity and changing the industry landscape for the better.

You won’t want to miss Oculus VP of Content Jason Rubin and Insomniac Games CEO & President Ted Price on stage with game journalist Geoff Keighley as part of this year’s E3 Coliseum. From 1:30 – 2:00 pm PT on June 12, attendees will hear Rubin and Price reflect on the gaming industry—from the beginning of their careers to current projects and partnerships—and why it’s okay for video games to change.
