We’re proud partners of the NBA and WNBA, and we stand in solidarity with their players, coaches, and commitment to promoting greater civic engagement in elections as well as raising awareness around voter access and opportunity. As NBA play resumes today, we’re honored to deliver the “Oculus Front Row View” camera angle. And we’re excited to bring fans closer to the action with WNBA games this season, and NBA League Pass games next season, in Oculus Venues on Oculus Quest and Oculus Go. Fans can also watch any ESPN/ABC NBA broadcast via the ESPN app in their Oculus headset. While the stoppage in play has ended, the fight for change continues. And one of the best ways to effect that change is to get out the vote.
Facebook was built to empower people by giving them a voice—and voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard. The Voting Information Center provides millions of people accurate information about voting, while also giving them the tools they need to register and make their voices heard at the ballot box.
As league play resumes, let’s honor the lives lost and continue to do the important work towards racial justice and equality. Black Lives Matter.
