We’re less than halfway through it, and 2019 is already shaping up to be a banner year for VR. The launch of Oculus Quest let us defy the limits of reality with full freedom of movement, while Rift S marked an important next step in the evolution of high-powered, immersive PC gaming. The future we’ve all been working toward is taking shape, and it’s time to come together and celebrate at Oculus Connect 6—returning September 25 – 26 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
Oculus Connect brings together developers, content creators, marketers, and more to explore state-of-the-art technological advancements, discuss the artistic potential of immersive media, and imagine what the future of our industry might look like. With Quest and Rift S bringing more people into VR than ever before, OC6 is the perfect moment to think bigger, build smarter, and realize the true potential of what we’re creating together.
At OC4, we announced a partnership with Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Apex Legends™ and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, to make a new AAA first-person VR combat experience. We’re thrilled to share more info about the project this year at OC6.
We hope you’ll join us at OC6 as we look toward the future. We’ll have more to share on registration, hotels, and this year’s inspiring tech talks in the coming months. Check back on the blog and follow us on Twitter for the latest updates.
We can’t wait to begin the next chapter of virtual and augmented reality with you in San Jose, September 25 – 26!
