We are currently seeking innovative engineers with a passion for technology to achieve great strides in machine perception at our research location in Redmond, WA. Within the Oculus Research Surreal Vision team, the aim of this role focuses on supporting the activities of the team through the creation and maintenance of robotic testing and automation systems for data collection and analysis of new sensing platforms. In addition, the successful candidate is also expected to deeply engage in building and maintaining the advanced AR/VR hardware prototypes developed within the team. The position requires a Master's in Robotics / Mechatronics with a combination of theoretical expertise and applied experience in ideating and building real world robotics/mechatronics systems. The ideal applicant will have excellent coding skills and direct experience with control / state estimation techniques or computer vision algorithms.
