The Oculus PC team is hiring a Product Manager to help drive our core VR user experience for Oculus products. We are working to establish VR as a first-class computing platform with new and innovative tools for socializing, creativity, and entertainment. This is an exciting opportunity to do groundbreaking work and help establish the conventions that will define the next generation of computing. The role requires good instincts about what makes VR experiences successful, a strong understanding of what people want from VR as a computing platform, and comfort and appetite for working in a nascent medium without well-established conventions or development practices. Experience developing real-time interactive software (games or otherwise) is important.


  • Drive improvements to our in-VR system software and experiences to ensure that the Rift in-VR user experience is deeply engaging and high utility.
  • Collaborate effectively with all cross-functional teams on successfully launching and growing their Rift-related products.
  • Expand and improve in-VR system software features, and own major new feature development initiatives.
  • Partner with our customer- and developer-facing teams to track and resolve issues, as well as improve our products overall.
  • Make sure other core system-level pieces integral to a smoothly functioning Rift product function properly.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management or creative direction experience.
  • Experience managing delivery of a consumer software product, game, or interactive experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ship products
  • Organizational experience managing multiple ongoing initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in game design.
  • Experience in VR or AR application development.
  • Experience supporting live products for highly-engaged communities.
  • Experience with every stage of product development from concept to launch.
