Software Developer

Software Engineering | Redmond, WA

The Eye Tracking Team is looking for a Software Developer who can augment our team of leading tracking experts by taking on a broad scope of software development tasks including: maintaining and distributing our code base for other research teams, supporting integration of new hardware and software systems, and managing external software development resources. In addition, they will take part in documentation of code and ownership of projects where other teams need access to eye tracking resources.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging and maintaining software solutions for internal resources
  • Streamlining and documenting eye tracking code base for easier integration and distribution
  • Getting new firmware and drivers up and running within the code base
  • Working with internal firmware and other resources to get new hardware online
  • Maintaining code bases for projects where other teams need access to eye tracking team resources
  • Managing external software resources

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 10+ years general software development experience
  • 5+ years experience working in a cross-functional software development environment that includes hardware and software integration
  • C++ coding skills
  • Experience with computer vision, image processing, or 3D data processing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analysis of large data sets
