Truly immersive Virtual Technology requires advanced machine learning and computer vision technologies. We are looking for an exceptional computer vision software developers with a passion to bring human-computer interaction to new levels. As an intern in Oculus Vision Software team, you'll be working with a group of engineers and across teams to solve challenges at the forefront of Virtual Reality to usher the next era of human-computer interaction. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and is passionate about bringing innovative solutions to Virtual Reality.


  • Participate in cutting edge computer vision research to expand the body and face tracking, and body and face animation modeling.
  • Develop algorithms in the product software branch including architecture and design considerations.
  • Collaborate with the optical lab, sensor development teams, and other engineers across various disciplines
  • Communicate your research project agenda and results

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelors/Masters in the field of Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
  • High levels of creativity and quick problem solving capabilities
  • Proven track record of achieving significant results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated software engineer experience via projects, an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or papers
  • Some exposure or experience in computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, face animation
