Game Programmer

Oculus is the tip of the spear when it comes to realizing virtual reality. As a game programmer on the Oculus Studios team, you'll be working with a very talented group of industry professionals finding the fringes and leading the industry in this emergent and creative space. If you're excited about forging into new territory, creating industry-leading motion in a variety of styles and genres, and working with the mightiest in the industry, Oculus may be the home for you.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the other content team members to deliver high-bar VR experiences and content across varied platforms (PC and mobile)
  • Work on existing PC and mobile VR projects aiding in development or maintenance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years PC and/or Mobile game industry experience
  • Working experience in C, C# and/or C++ programming languages
  • Prior experience in game design and programming
  • 3D Math Skills
  • Experience with Unity 3D and/or Unreal game engines
  • Communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating mobile optimized code
  • Experience with game/app localization
