  • Lead and scale supply chain operations along with supply planning for Oculus.
  • Enable full collaboration with parallel cross-functional organizations such as hardware & electrical engineering, business development, marketing, logistics, and technical operations.
  • Establish and closely monitor performance metrics relative to cost, time to market, launch success, NPI, and sustaining operations.
  • Operate with multiple execution models such as Contract Manufacturing, Joint Development Manufacturing, Original Equipment Manufacturing, and first and third party products.
  • Optimize commodity sourcing to support product roadmap and core technologies efforts
  • Drive early supplier engagement with cross-functional Oculus organizations to ensure optimal designs (cost/schedule/availability).
  • Set and optimize cost and responsiveness metrics for supply chain operations
  • Drive process for supplier selection, alternative evaluations, manage RFQ process, and drive final supplier selection in partnership with other cross-functional Oculus organizations.
  • Lead structured BOM cost reduction process. Leveraging existing and new partners, working with Industrial Design, and HW Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in purchasing and materials management roles and in consumer electronics products.
  • 10+ years of direct management experience of teams of 20+ personnel.
  • Experience with global supply base and especially in Asia.
  • Experience with negotiating large-scale Manufacturing & Development Service. Agreements, Statements of Work, Term Sheets, and other contracts.
  • Project management, communication, collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proven leadership skills in building and managing teams.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills.
