Responsible for the management, strategy and execution of Enterprise infrastructure for Oculus Research in multiple locations within the US and internationally. Proactively analyzes the needs of different research groups and determines the best course of action to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. Develops long term roadmaps and oversees technical projects in alignment with organizational goals and manages the research in terms of selection of Enterprise equipment, applications, and equipment to meet these goals, driving the process from inception through deployment ensuring that everything is delivered on time and fully functional based off of research needs. This role will work directly with Enterprise leadership and functional teams throughout Facebook driving resourcing, procurement, networking, deployment, and sustained engineering of Oculus Research projects. The Manager of Enterprise Engineering ensures vendor security and works directly with facilities teams on future buildouts to meet cutting edge research needs for all Oculus Research sites.
