AR/VR - Global Retail Business Analyst

Oculus seeks a Global Retail Business Analyst who has the ability to lead demand planning, forecasting and account level insights and planning for Oculus retailers. This particular role will generate global sales forecasts, contribute to channel demand planning, and develop business plans in partnership with our Oculus sales team for retail accounts. The role combines strategy, planning, cross-functional collaboration, and day to day execution. This person will work directly with supply chain, growth & insights team, sales and finance to develop this business. We are looking for a slightly impatient individual willing to face down their fear of failure to accomplish bold things. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park office and will report directly into the Global head of Sales along with a tight partnership with our Growth and Insights team at Facebook.


  • Drive sales and inventory forecasting, demand and supply management, and account level insights and planning for our retailers
  • Contribute to sales and operations planning, maintain and publish weekly business analytics, collect and analyze trend data to evaluate seasonal demand, and conduct market research as needed
  • Collaborate with supply chain and business operations to drive channel inventory management and optimization
  • Manage and execute promotional calendar activities, including price changes, order management, and analysis
  • Partner with ecommerce to align omni-channel demand forecasting and replenishment
  • Contributing member of retail team, responsible for identifying opportunities in market and channel distribution to drive sales growth
  • Partner with Retail Sales team to develop quarterly business reviews with third party channels to develop partner goals, highlight key trends, provide insights into opportunity areas and account specific analysis.
  • Formalize and manage external CPFR process in conjunction with retail sales team and retail partners
  • Own promotion analysis, tracking, and reconciliation for product portfolio

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ years experience of demand planning and inventory management, B2B and CE experience
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field
  • Financial planning and negotiation skills, ability to deliver data driven insights
  • Presentation skills and the ability to develop 3PL presentation with actionable takeaways
  • Cross-functional partner that drives for solutions and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Planning skill-set, adaptable to changing deliverables and deadlines
  • Strategic in execution and definition of long-term roadmaps and long-range plans
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and own milestones across multi-channel development
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to domestic and global locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing programs or projects with fixed timelines, expertise in building out requirements and PNL for various retail channels, including vertical, 3rd party, and mobile.
