Our Core Technology group focused on computational image capture is looking for Computational Scientists Engineers with a passion for developing high performance computational image reconstruction. The role centers around working with a small development team designing numerical optimization algorithms used to perform non-linear, inverse image scene reconstruction. The successful candidate must have strong C/C++ software engineering experience with a solid understanding of applied mathematics and numerical optimization. Additional skills or familiarity with computer vision and machine learning algorithms is desirable though not required. An ideal candidate will have performed extensive numerical computational systems engineering and algorithm implementations.


  • Develop numerical optimization algorithms and related SW systems for scene reconstruction
  • Perform code optimization and output quality tradeoffs and implementation
  • Develop and implement output quality metrics and associated regression code
  • Implement regression testing again code base to insure code quality and robustness
  • Design and implement deployment infrastructures for large scale deployment

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent research or industry experience
  • 5+ years experience developing C++ and parallel computing systems
  • 3+ years of developing numerical computational algorithms
  • Interpersonal team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of CUDA or similar GP-GPU experience
  • Computer Vision mathematical knowledge
  • Strong 3D or geometric mathematical skills - e.g. geometric algebra, tensor algebra, algebraic geometry
  • Experience implementing and understanding CNN and the mathematics therein
