As a Reliability Engineer at Oculus, you will take a critical role in bringing reliable virtual reality to our customers and the world. You will contribute to all aspects of the product lifecycle from design risks of design concepts to failure analysis of field returns. You will be responsible for understanding designs and identifying risks associated with different design options. You will be responsible for identifying appropriate stresses that our products must pass and creating validation plans which will be used to validate the reliability of our products. You will be responsible for producing accurate reliability analysis in a timely manner. You will be responsible for providing design suggestions to improve the reliability of our products. We are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats depending on the task at hand. The ideal candidate has a "can do" attitude with a strong background in reliability engineering, high attention to detail, thirst for knowledge, and an inherent interest in all aspects of engineering. This position will be located in Menlo Park, CA.
