Business Development Manager

The Oculus Business Development team is looking for a team player to build and drive go-to-market partnerships with hardware manufacturers, retailers and enterprise partners. This is a unique opportunity to help drive the future of virtual reality and our strategy in engaging and building out how we partner and go to market.


  • Define and execute on go-to-market strategy for Oculus products
  • Build partner playbooks, influence partner marketing plans and scale distribution of Oculus products globally
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and close large, strategic distribution and co-marketing deals with manufacturers, retailers, resellers and industry players

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of related business development experience
  • Experience in retailing of consumer electronics and an understanding of Oculus products

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or JD degree
  • 10+ years of experience managing and coaching partners, strategizing collaboratively, and structuring and negotiating complex agreements
  • Experience with technology products, especially for platform-based software, in a combination of the following roles: business/partnerships development, engineering and/or product management
  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Ability to interpret legal documents, negotiate contracts and work with attorneys to complete agreements
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to operate with energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
