Demand Planning Analyst

The Demand Planning Analyst will play an important role in the overall S&OP process. The analyst is the integration point between Supply Planning, Sales Operations, Sales, and Finance organizations for detailed forecasting activities associated with all Channel Partners and products worldwide. The analyst will use Collaboration, Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) methodologies to develop the near and mid-term “Sell In” plan of record (POR). In order to be successful, this person must use both a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain key demand inputs and effectively disseminate this information to the relevant teams.


  • Formalize and manage external CPFR process in conjunction with sales ops team, retail sales team and channel partners
  • Collaborate with retail team and Sales Ops to participate in quarterly business reviews with channel partners to develop goals, highlight key trends, provide insights into opportunity areas and account specific analysis
  • Collaborate with supply chain, business operations, and sales team to drive channel inventory management and optimization
  • Manage and distribute updated channel inventory projections report
  • Drive distributor and retailers order in-take projections report (Sell-in)
  • Contribute to S&OP process, maintain and publish weekly business analytics, collect and analyze trend data to evaluate seasonal demand, conduct market research
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
  • Drive sales and inventory forecasting, demand & supply management, and analysis for 3rd party channels
  • Partner with e-commerce team to align omni-channel demand forecasting and replenishment
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to domestic and global locations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years of experience focused on B2B/Consumer Electronics demand planning and inventory management
  • Financial planning and negotiation experience
  • Experience on delivering data driven insight
  • Experience to handle changing deliverables and deadlines
