Head of Marketing Performance & Operations for AR/VR

Our AR/VR organization brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform. We plan to release multiple products over the next few years. In particular, we are building technologies or seemingly impossible products that define new categories that advance Facebook's mission of bringing the world closer together.

We're seeking a Head of Marketing Performance & Operations who will partner with the AR/VR CMO to help grow our businesses. This person will be responsible for maximizing the impact of Marketing by operationalizing the organization across marketing strategy, marketing execution, research, analytics, products and financial accountability.


  • Set goals across the Marketing organization, define how we measure short-term and long-term success, what metrics we use and why, help socialize these metrics across FB and build allies and supporters
  • Develop strategies to achieve goals and mobilize teams to execute
  • Ensure we can measure the effectiveness of our efforts at every stage of funnel (through to sales) and conduct test and learn
  • Optimize spend to maximize impact across AR/VR marketing/sales teams
  • Leverage analytics and partner with financial planning and on ROI measurement
  • Help the Marketing organization, across the many teams, run more efficiently with clarity and accountability
  • Run the Marketing Leadership Meetings, with clear agenda’s and next steps
  • Run or participate in cross-functional stakeholder meetings to ensure that the marketing team/s is both receiving and providing enough context, to help expedite quick action and decisions
  • Make sure information is being quickly and clearly distributed throughout the entire Marketing & Sales Organization
  • Be the CMO’s person on the ground to make sure that we are executing to plan
  • Help CMO grow and develop a world class marketing organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of brand and product marketing experience with increasing responsibility, in consumer technology, hardware or software technology companies
  • Analytics experience, with experience in measuring the effectiveness of marketing (both brand marketing and performance marketing)
  • Operational experience in helping teams and organizations work
  • 3+ years experience in leadership role, with experience building teams and cross-functional relationships
  • Combination of visionary, strategic and pragmatic experience, encompassing both strategic marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution
  • Experience in using data and insights to inform corporate and product strategy
  • Experience as a strategic advisor to executives
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity
  • BA/BS degree in business, accounting, engineering, finance, marketing, or related field
