As a Backend and Assembly Process Engineering Manager, your role will be to recommend and develop new assembly processes to drive the innovation cycle and product roadmap. This role assumes ownership of process flow and integration within the backend and assembly modules and will be responsible for defining and developing material sets, test vehicles, DOEs, and process control plans to successfully develop and sustain reliable manufacturable products. The ideal candidate will have professional experience demonstrating the ability to work strategically with internal research teams, academic institutions, external partners, and vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables, schedule and track project progress. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to your team’s success and clearly communicate their work to all stakeholders. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, with the ability to find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.
