Step into Diplo’s recording studio at Pompey, his jungle retreat where rugged brutalist architecture hums with Jamaican energy. The studio looks directly into the control room, keeping creative momentum alive as artists from around the world come here to record. Major Lazer’s iconic track “Pon De Floor” was created right here. Inside, you’ll find a piano, drum kit, and a rhumba box, an Afro Caribbean folk instrument that grounds the space in local rhythm and heritage.
