Anthropomorphic robots are increasingly introduced into our lives: they meet us in receptions and lobbies, educate children and even live in families as partners and wives. Engineers are trying to make robots as human-like as possible, to the extent that we may not even realise we are meeting a robot. This brand new documentary explores the most human-like robots and the advancements in technology blurring the lines between cyborg and human, including human characters that are married to their electronic partners.
