ANIMATED TRAILFX

Another great way to use a TrailFX is to add it to an animated object.

From the script tab in our build menu, we can stop the world, which allows us to more easily open the firefly’s property panel.
Select the TrailFX, then click zoom in.
We have now brought it inside, and can position it to create an animated trail. Don’t forget to click once to let go of the effect, which allows us to leave it inside the firefly object when we click zoom out.
Don’t forget to click play world from the build menu, and watch the animation resume.
