Meetings in Workrooms support up to 50 total participants at once, with up to 16 of those participants joining from VR. You can have an unlimited number of team members added to each workroom.
Do I need to have a Quest 2 headset to use Workrooms?
A Quest 2 headset is required for the first person who creates a Workrooms team, and for anyone who wants to join meetings in VR. People can also join meetings from video calls on desktop if they don't have a Quest 2.
What files and documents are supported in Workrooms?
With the Oculus Remote Desktop app, you can use your computer in VR and view or screen-share any files you can access on your computer (see here for more information). Images, video and PDFs can be uploaded for other people in the Workrooms web app.
Having trouble using Oculus Remote Desktop with Workrooms?
A new version of Meta Quest Remote Desktop is now available and will require an update to MQRD v1.6 or later in order to pair your remote desktop with Workrooms. You can find and download the latest version for your device at http://oculus.com/desktop.
Which countries or regions is Workrooms available in?
Workrooms (beta) VR app is available on the Meta Quest Store for Quest 2 in these countries. The Workrooms web app is available globally in countries where Facebook is available.
